Day 1

After a few “extra” meals full of junk and sugar, I concluded my glutenous pre-diet food-stravaganza. I killed it too. I ate about 12 chocolate bunnies and at least a half-gallon of ice cream.

So... Today is the day. The start. The beginning. The start of the end of my gut, at least the part of the gut I can actually do something about at the advanced age of 38 without doubling down on a dosage of ‘roids.

Anyhow. Started today with a bowl of Quaker oat cereal. A bit high in calories for a typical mid-week breakfast, but I am technically out of the office today.

Here is to my will-power not falling prey to an attack from double-cheeseburgers!
