When I found out that it was one of my favorite people's birthday's last week, of course I had to make an edit for them. They do so many amazing things to love and support everybody else that is under their wing and acting like the group chat's big sister. For those of you that I haven't met through the Studio Ghibli chat, I am talking about my super sweet friend @konekocuddle.

I met Koneko a few months ago when she joined the Ghibli chat that I also tend to frequent daily and has brought me a good amount of my friends and followers. Whenever I first join a chat or new people come I'm always a little bit more apprehensive than most because I am typically more shy. I wait for other people to make the first move before I even think about it. Koneko however, instantly roped me into a conversation. She asked me why I decided that Dot should be my nickname (back then I still had Dot Warner asexuality on my PFP) so I explained it to her. Even though she's from Denmark and has no knowledge about my fixation on voice actors and no context she ALWAYS encourages me to talk about them more actively in the GC and get more friends that way. Even if I have to explain things a little bit further for her she's never complained that I don't make any sense.

Koneko and I really started to bond when I briefly mentioned that day that my plans involved getting caught up on the reboot of Fruits Basket which was gearing up to start the third and final season and I still hadn't finished the second (there was a lot of pain in the beach arc don't judge me.) She mentioned rather enthusiastically that she loved the original 2001 anime that had gotten me into the shojo manga genre in the first place. Even though she no longer watched anime series she made it careful practice to try and remember my main favorite set of characters, especially my husbando Kakeru Manabe, which in the coming months would get a lot easier for her.

Koneko is an absolutely incredible advice giver. She took my recent bought of depression really seriously trying to get me to go outside more before I was vaccinated. Even though I was sad a lot back then she still made me feel a lot better just by being there and listening to me. When my mood spiked up again she was the first one to be there to cheer for me. My mood spiked do to my talk with Aaron Dismuke back in March. Even though I doubt that Koneko ever really had the time to watch my talk she still encouraged me by telling me that I did deserve love and affection in life. Through all my ups and downs mood wise she's been there to either lend a listening ear or to cheer for me.

Koneko, I just wanted to say that on behalf of the entire Ghibli squad, thank you. Thank you for being such an encouraging source of light and positivity. Thank you for always being there to encourage the lives of others and to be there to tell us about your future exchange to Tokyo. Wishing you the happiest of birthdays,

I really can’t believe I forgot to post on January, which was a goal of mine lol. I’ve just been lazy to be honest and not in the mood to post a lot. I don’t know why maybe I feel so burn out all the time.

Anyway in this photo I was studying for my AP Bio test which I failed sadly. It was hard and I’m not the best at Bio! Ugh it sucks and I know I won’t past the AP bio test. Still I think this class will help me a lot in college and not feel so lost like I do now. Maybe a summer goal would be to study Bio more because I take the class for it.
