Dream Job?

I’m learning that I hate the idea of having to work for a living. I’ve never had a job that wasn’t soul-sucking, and if it isn’t at first it will be later. This doesn’t seem to be everyone’s experience so I think I’m not just built for it. Ideally I’d like to devote myself to taking care of my home and my partner. I think I’d do a better job of it that way, too.

You’re stranded on an island, who do you bring with you?

Toilet paper and a shovel to bury my poop. Also tons of notebooks and pencils because maybe I’d actually write.

lepus: what is your biggest flaw?

procrastination. if i am afraid of something, if something stresses me out,, if it would bring huge changes into my life, i delay it until the very last minute - often snowballing the situation and making a simple thing way too stressful for myself. one day i am going to burn myself very bad with this behaviour

another regret i have is not doing enough. these days i feel like i am just floating by. of course, pandemic and everything, but still. i can’t get myself to work hard enough, in language learning, in job hunting, in working out, in being there for others, etc. and i feel like i’m wasting so much of my time

it’s all so incredibly loud: is there anything you’ve said that you wish you could take back?

i usually regret being silent. i have always been somewhat silent and while that can be helpful in situations, a lot of things also just remain unsaid.
