#purposefully silent

Leaving for a BIG vacation tonight, so I just knew I had to finish this Rickidy sketch before I left!!!

Based on Chapter 3 of @orithereticent’s amazing fic, “Purposefully Silent!”

I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with mediums and art styles. My last “Purposefully Silent” sketch was graphite and used various drawing pencils and blending techniques. With this one I also went monochrome, but decided to use my lineart markers to experiment with creating darkness and lightness using hatching and cross hatching.

(The angst in this fic will never not pierce my heart and the last part of Pericles and Ricky’s conversation is so god damn good oh my god)

That's also going to be updated. I really love that particular AU. I've been trying to figure out how I want to schedule my updates, so far my idea is that I update Purposefully Silent, then The Song and Tail Left Behind, then Anagorisis.

It is going to be updated, the main reason I haven’t updated it yet is because I’ve hit writers block along with the fact I’ve been fairly busy and I got into Ducktales and have been writing an alternate universe fanfic for Ducktales and Darkwing Duck that I’ve wanted to write since before I got into fandoms.
