Personality

Chumsley is a playful, happy-go-lucky plush cat. He is best friends with Ashley, and is inseparable from her when they are in the Pureverse together, as well as in the real world. He’s a big eater, and also enjoys cooking and baking. He’s also as imaginative as Ashley, thinking up solutions for problems in the Pureverse. He always wants the best for Ashley, and will do anything he can to make her happy. However, when things don’t go his way or when something angers him, he can get rather angry, even to the point of attacking the villains of the Pureverse or talking to them rudely.

Likes and Dislikes

Likes: Having parties, playing with Ashley, going on adventures, the Pureverse Team (his friends and family in the Pureverse), classic Steven Spielberg movies, mid 80’s-early 90’s culture, modern technology, Ashley dressing him up, eating food, baking and cooking, dancing, singing, making up his own stories

Dislikes: His Canon Self’s (or the real Chumsley’s) past behavior, seeing Ashley sad, hurt, or in pain, accidentally offending or upsetting others, Ashley being forced to “mask” herself by her parents, the villains of the Pureverse

Backstory

Chumsley came into Ashley’s life weeks after she watched the Gabby’s Dollhouse movie. After months of bonding with him in various plush bodies, Ashley was able to visit the Pureverse due to the shared bond between them powering the “Chumsley ears” she had.

How Chumsley is seen

To the Pureverse team, Chumsley is seen as a good leader who always has great ideas (well, not initially in the eyes of Topaz and Malgosha), even if he can have the ideas become out of control at times. He especially bonds well with the kids like Rosie Fuentes, Minky Momo, and Lil’ Petey.
