I brought my aunt some chocolate from Purdy's (a popular Canadian chocolate brand) and it was an ODYSSEY to get those chocolates to Brazil without them melting, because our apartment in Canada is super hot all year. Odysseus has nothing on me.
My mom and I kept the chocolates in a cooler at home and kept switching out ice pack things to keep the chocolate from becoming a puddle. Brought them in our hand luggage and everything, just in case the plane's undercarriage was hot.
Didn't open the boxes until we got to my aunt's. Luckily they were all good, lol.
Now, my aunt has me picking her chocolates for her because they're assorted flavours but she doesn't speak English or French, so she can't read what the flavours are.
These are candies from my favorite chocolatier and I would never in my life buy them for myself because they are NOT cheap
But I put them on my Christmas list. And Jon got them for me.

One month till Christmas!
I haven't been out eating at restaurants, hence no "foodie" posts. Was busy with midterms & then genetics assignments. That is all done now. Soooo I did some Christmas shopping today~ it was funnnn haha
I love the Little Blue Box but the Purple Bag (as I've called it) is right up there too :P I also went to Dollarama to look for suitable containers for my tiramisu - I am hanging out with the VEAM team tomorrow :D & promised to make tiramisu for them. But you know, it's Christmas season & a plain, "regular" plastic container was nowhere to be found. I got Christmas-themed food containers instead. Even better, right??
Previously, all the tiramisus I've eaten/made had a layer of cream on the top, but who says it can't be topped with biscuit-y things, like lady fingers? :O So I did that this time. I also think it will work well because it will add another texture to the creamy, rich dessert. I am a genius!
I was unstoppable! Lol I made 2 more bowls of tiramisu, but used lady finger crumbs on top instead. The bigger bowl for my bro's friends, who are coming over for a potluck tomorrow, & the small bowl for my bro & I. Excited to try it tomorrow !
