Little dogs are great
People who don't like little dogs just drive me insane. Little dogs can be so sweet and cuddly and smart. My yorkie is super intelligent, really cuddly and finds ways to communicate what she needs with us and is really well trained- yes she can be a brat but she doesn't attack people and we have all her bad habits under control. You know why? Because just like with any other dog, little dogs take training. All because they are small does not mean they take any less work. I think so many people get little dogs for their cuteness and never socialize them or even properly potty train them (lots of little dogs, especially yorkies, have really small bladders and its your responsibility to give them what they need). The argument is constantly made for dogs like pitbulls that it's the owners fault, but never for little dogs- instead the dog gets blamed and people end up kicking them and killing them when they get out (this happened to my yorkie, she ran out the front door, and immediately came back yelping in pain as someone had literally kicked her). Its just really frustrating that people just hate these little fluffs of fur so much, they can be so loving and sweet and smart they just take time and training like any other dog. I love all 3 of my little pupperonis they are cute and sweet and TRAINED, well enough they even can be around babies and kids without a problem (especially my maltese who is my main dog and a rescue! She is the sweetest most helpless thing) We love them! I love little fluffs so much and I love big giant floofs too! 💞💞 dogs are just great

I haven’t seen many recently, so here’s a submission for caturday! Or you know, whenever. Cuz photos of pets are always nice. These two are my pups, Mouse (above) and Shadow (below).
Mouse is a German Shepard, she’s a bit smaller size-wise than most which is why one of my nicknames for her is little one. The other main one is sweetheart. She’s fairly agile and can jump pretty high. I have a super short clip of her jumping for a ball I might should submit another time. Her name turned out to be pretty fitting since she rarely barks unless it’s to alert to something.
Shadow is a Dutch Shepard mixed with something else. He’s big enough to be a whole person at 109lbs and at least 5ft nose to tail but that just makes him the perfect size to hug. My nickname for him is bud and he absolutely loves to be pet. He’ll sometimes whine, take a quick glance at your hands, then look back at you with big puppy eyes just asking for pets. Which he doesn’t always get, but he tries.
Mouse frequently traps my feet by lying on them or she sits on them and leans on my legs. Shadow’s head actually comes over the top of my hip when he’s sitting so he’ll sit right next to me and lean his head into my hip/ stomach. And one day I really will get a video of them both rushing to greet me.
