I think youâre right in feeling this way, someone saying that you should go to a certain community because you donât fit in with a certain gender/sexuality binary is pretty stupid, and saying that LGBT+ people need to be segregated is pretty bad too.
She wasn't saying segregation, really, it was more like "Oh, you should go there, because you'd have to be really weird to stand out there!" And I'm just kinda thinking, "...I don't even stand out here, what the fuck are you talking about. Yes, I don't fit the norm, but it's not like everybody's staring at me with their jaws on the ground while I'm walking around."
