Headcanon Aizawa gets cold easily, which is why he can stand being wrapped up in that scarf so much. The INSTANT it starts to get chilly outside, he breaks out the heavy coat, gloves, fluffy socks—the works. aizawa! mic was a bit too nervous to make the first proper move - he wasn't entirely sure what aizawa's reaction would be, and they hadn't reconnected that long ago (going with the hc that they lost touch for awhile after graduation).
aizawa, though, couldn't wait any longer - he knew mic liked him back, so it would've been illogical to not do something about
regardless, he was still nervous when he asked him out. mic nearly tackled him to the ground with excitement in response

also aizawa. mic is often too busy for it - he works in his studio during the night, or takes the time to powernap before classes. but aizawa spends most of his nights out on patrol and sometimes, when there's a lull in activity, he likes to just stand and look up at the stars

i can see mic exploring his “i wanna be with shouta forever” feelings thru private songwriting, literally filling notebooks with soft doodles and copious amounts of shitty lovey dovey sappy cheesy straight up BAD verses and phrases. shouta of course discovers these musings & is a little, well, surprised! awestruck? choked up? he didn’t realize hizashi was ready to take that step. reading hizashi’s notebook, while intrusive & making him feel a bit icky, it also fills him with a deep pleasant reciprocal warmth reflective of hizashi’s writing that is so clearly about THEM. OF COURSE shouta is gonna propose now! he couldn’t imagine a life without hizashi and marriage is only logical 🙄 they already live together, their lives have already been intertwined for ages, he loves hizashi so much. it feels right. hell, it feels so right that shouta doesn't even think. he finds hizashi immediately, reaches for his hands, stares into those impossibly wide brilliantly green eyes and blurts “husbands” before his brain kicks back into gear and shit “fuck that wasn’t romantic at all” shouta says, flat as always and hizashi bursts into laughter so bright and loud and tears fill his eyes as he gasps for breath. once he’s calm, hizashi examines shouta's nervous demeanor, his flushed cheeks, and well. it clicks. “did you read my notebook?” he asks and the guilt that flashes across shouta’a face is as clear as the love between them is strong “i did.” hizashi reaches for shouta hands, laces their fingers together. he pulls him close and says “i think it’s pretty obvious what i want, shou.” shouta squeezes hizashi’s hands. “husbands?” “husbands.”

Emic grading papers together in the evening.
