evan is the real punk, but he doesn’t necessarily present punk if that makes sense.
evan is a big death fan, and he lovesssss bad brains (esp bcuz of the reggae fusion) and he got pandora into x-ray spex. he also got barty into the clash. he is mainly into local punk bands though.
I love this headcannon that after The Prank, Remus got so mad at Sirius that he didn't even look at him for a while, and during that time he started going out with Barty, but Barty belonged only to Evan, but even so he went out with Remus and listened every time Remus talked about Sirius and how he missed him even after everything.
We're pretty sure Barty was a punk, and I love the characterization of Remus as a punk.

he’s 1/3 chinese on his moms side, his moms family follow some chinese traditions, and celebrate some of those holidays, but his grandpa is married to a white woman so yk. his moms mom is russian, very bougie slavic gramma, with the furs and the plastic surgery. also mega rich chinese family makes sense for barty
his dads side is all about networking, and connections, cuz he’s a minster, and every family gathering is essentially a business meeting and networking opportunity. all the family dinners get interrupted midway, because barty senior got a business call and now his coworker and his family are all coming and barty has to hang out with random people
he’s the one cousin who’s constantly asking to “go for a walk” and comes back high out of his mind, and everyone pretends they don’t notice.
his cousins are also all preppy rich kids, he despises them, so he’s constantly getting drunk with them to make them tolerable
