Haha, I certainly do consider myself as such when it comes to this AU. I’ve binged all of the videos in one day, and with an impending execution, I’m dying a little inside because I haven’t even started >w>’ I’m glad you’re enjoying everything, though. In response to your question, it’s a bit difficult to answer since I changed mediums a bit and what not, but the original project, a chapter story without any interactiveness, took about a month to plan out (And that was just the prologue, but that was because it was writing by hand). Sometime after I stumbled upon a few tumblr Quest style games and thought it’d be a perfect platform for this story to make it more enjoyable, so I started planning the game in this way. My prologue notes were pretty much the same, so that was easy, but I ended up changing screen styles (if we’d call it that) a few times, and I think it took about a week or so to figure that out/get the templates. I don’t even know how long the sprites took and I really don’t want to think about it to be honest >w>’ As for the frame work, I’m not even done yet, but I do have the main plot points down, like the motives that will be occurring, and some of the free time events in full, but a lot of it is lacking, like the murder and trial, simply because that can change depending on what you guys do. That being said, the actual story is 7 months+ in the planning process and we’ve still got loads more to do xD It probably sounds way worse than it is, though, since I am a full time student, so I had to balance the story and my school work, which slowed things down a bit.
