Hi, I just noticed that Anju says the same thing three times in the newest update. I just thought Id let you know in case it was a mistake
It wasn’t a mistake - the first one is the actual speaking, while the next two show your heart blackening until it vanishes. I wasn’t sure how to go about animating it nicely so I went with that.
So a rough example of asserting something that someone shouldn't know is this? -> "Bob: Guys, someone took something from the cupboard. Fred: I don't know where the cookies are. Bob: how did you know it was the cookies that were missing? Fred: ..!"
Your example has me thinking that you’d handle a trial like this would be:
ELI: What, don’t look at me! Look at Anju!
ANJU: What?! I didn’t kill those three!
ELI: Weird. How you’d even know that three people were dead!
ANJU: Because they were sitting right in front of me, and they were dead.
ELI: ... Suspicious.
ANJU: No, it’s not!
But in all seriousness you’re right anon, that’s more or less how it goes down.

Can you tell us one of the ways we would win without investigating?
You would cry until the culprit gave up and took pity on you.
One of the ways you can refute/agree with phrases in the class trial is copy bullets, so in theory, you could piggy back off of everyone else.
And while the main way of proving things is asserting knowledge to contradict people, the opposite way of doing this is assert what an innocent person shouldn’t know. You may see a bit of this in the upcoming trial.

You definitely have a good chance at solving this. I wouldn’t write you guys into a corner, even if you didn’t investigate, you can assume there’d be a way to win. If it’s be apparent/easy, well, that’s another story. That being said, though, I’m writing the trial right now and there aren’t any extremely difficult parts yet, I can only foresee the ending being harder than before, but with enough context clues you should be able to piece things together, and you have skills, of course.
