As you can see in the notes above, some weeks in this period from December 5th, 2018 to January 23rd, 2019 were very light in terms of books that came out, and others were heavier.
You can also see that I got the last issue of Border Town before the series was cancelled as a result of the accusations of sexual assault and harassment against the writer. I had no intention of supporting the book after that revelation while he was still on it, but it was such an interesting take that I wish someone else could have taken it over. But whatever, comics get cancelled over less all the time. . . so if that is what it took to make sure he doesnât profit off of comics when he was responsible for making it a less safe and welcoming place for women, then so be it.
I also started getting Wonder Woman again in this period because G. Willow Wilson started writing it. I am enjoying her adventurous stories and the development of a supporting cast of mythological creatures, sometime villains, and normal folks.
I also started getting Lion Forgeâs Quincredible in this time, which I am really enjoying (despite the art not being to my taste much of the time), but it has a great YA vibe.
The titles that are crossed out are ones I picked up at a different comics shop than my normal place because they were not on my pull-list yet.Â
