The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #15 (December 2020 This Outlawed crossover this was not good, but the individual incarnation as a subplot of Ms. Marvel's book was very good in Saladin Ahmed's hands.

I love this cover by Ron Wilson, Joe Sinnott, and Gaspar Saladino.

I know, I know. . . it is just a bit of a weird crossover, which I can only credit to the fact that it was written by one-time X-editor, Ann Nocenti.

Defenders #89 (November 1980) Defenders' "A Death in the Family" > Batman's "A Death in the Family" I mean, in one the Joker kills an also-ran Robin (YAWN) and in the other Patsy Walker's mom sells her daughter's soul to the SIX-FINGERED HAND in return for the promise of eternal life! I mean, c'mon!

I would have thought this comic was just named "The Creeper" but accorded to the DC Comics wiki (which sucks compared to the Marvel one, DC fans need to step it up!) it is titled, Beware the Creeper. I don't have many comics from the 60s, but many of the ones I do have are Steve Ditko comics.

I got this in that box of comics I got from a friend recently. It may be going into my giveaway box since I don't really collect Captain America, but a back-up story involves Sam Wilson somehow coming to grips with his "Snap" Wilson persona (sigh, why do they always do Black characters wrong? Don't answer that, I know why) so I may keep it for that. But the reason I shared this one today is because everyone has been discussing Zemo since The Falcon and the Winter Soldier TV series started. I haven't watched it yet, but I will. Not because I expect it to be good (are there any Marvel shows that could really be called "good?") but because I have written about Sam Wilson taking up the Captain America role in my scholarship before and want to see where they take it.

This might be one of the few Byrne-era issues of FF I have not read. Now that I own them all, I need to sit down and read through them all.

If there was ever a better title for a comic book than "Superheroes War Against the Monsters" I can't imagine what it might be. This was from the box of comics Brian Cremins sent me.

I got this for the back-up story.

I had never heard of this series by Don McGregor and Paul Gulacy, but I was recently sent of box of random comics from the 1980s by a friend and this was in it. Time to dig in!

I didn't know this series existed until a couple of years ago, and I have not finished collecting it, but it didn't last long (only a 12-issue series), so I have most of them. Anyway, the series was a project of one of the unsung artists of the Bronze Age, Ron Wilson, with the help of Larry Hama and others. There was even a Marvel Graphic Novel size that came out in 1987, with inks for Kyle Baker.

I will admit, I think of Godzilla as a she, not a he But She can be King if she wants. No one tells Godzilla what to do.
