This was requested by my bestie, so I thought I’d share it with whoever else needed it. I tried to be as detailed as possible without insulting anyone’s intelligence--LOL--so if you have any further questions about it, don’t hesitate to send me a message. ;)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED!

S3PE - Needed to compress the package files. This can also be used if you ever want to convert Sims3Packs into Packages. 

What you should know before starting!

Do NOT attempt to compress any files while your Sims 3 game is open! Please exit out of your game before starting!

Do NOT--I repeat--do NOT compress any Mods or Poses! Your game will not run if you do.

Step 1 - Create a folder for the Package files you want to compress.

First thing you should do is create a new folder. This will be the folder for all of the Package files you want to compress. It will be easier to keep track of everything this way. You will see what I'm talking about a little later. You can name the folder anything you want. I named mine 'S3 Compressed Packages'.

Step 2 - Add subfolders (Optional, but very useful!)

First off, it is best to compress files that are alike. This cuts down on any confusion in the event you need to add more packages to your compressed file at a later date, if you need to delete certain packages within the compressed file or if you need to locate bad CC.

Now under the folder you just created, you can add sub-folders and name them according to what type of Package files you will be compressing. 

For ex.; If you have a bunch of hair CC to compress, copy and paste all the hair CC you've downloaded into a sub-folder titled 'Hair' or whatever you decide to title it. Keep repeating this process for Clothing, Makeup, Accessories, Objects, etc. However you choose to organize your sub-folders is up to you.

NOTE: It is important to keep each sub-folder or each compressed file at 250MB or under. Anything above this might either cause your game to be slow or not load at all!

Step 3 - Open up S3PE to select package files.

Now that we've got all the folders set up, it's now time to open up S3PE.

Once S3PE has opened, click on File, and then New. Then, click on the Resource menu, select Import, and then select From Packages.

A new window will pop up showing the files in your computer. Locate to where you saved all of your package files and highlight all the files within the sub-folder (or wherever you saved your package files). Since all of my files in my Packages folder are compressed already, I am going to navigate to where I saved all of my uncompressed files instead. When you have selected all the files you want to compress, click Open.

Step 4 - Compress!

A small window will pop up. Just click Import.

Another small window will pop up asking if you want to Auto-Save. I always choose 'No', but that's up to you. 

Depending on how many files you are compressing, the loading time will vary. The more files you are compressing, the more time it will take to load. Just sit tight and wait until it is finished. 

Step 5 - Sort by Instance and Tag

When it is done loading, you will see a list of files with a bunch of random letters and numbers as file names. At the bottom of the screen, make sure that the following boxes are checked: Sort, Names, and Tags.

Afterwards, sort by Instance by clicking on the Instance tag twice. Then go to the Tag tab and click that twice. 

Now scroll through the list and find all the XML tags. Highlight them all and right-click on them to select the Delete option. You will see that all of the XML tags you highlighted have now been crossed off.

Step 6 - Save Compressed File

Now it's time to save your compressed file!

Click on the File menu and select Saved As...Give your new compressed file a name and click on Save. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the compressed file. Don't be alarmed if it says 'Not Responding' at the top. It's normal and will eventually go away and save your file successfully.

Step 7 - Installing Your Compressed File

If you don't know how to install a compressed Package file, it's the same as installing any Package file into your game. Copy & paste the compressed file and navigate to Electronic Arts > Sims 3 > Mods > Packages. 

Congratulations! You're done!

I'm not sure.  We have had some real life things going on.  :(   I'm trying to pop in as much as possible, but that just hasn't been very much, yet.

So I made a family for puddlypudd :) The Morishita family. And I love them. With all my heart. xD

Andrea - Da Momma. (You decide the age. I'm too lazy. xD) She's a single mom, trying to raise her 3 kids after her dick bag of a husband up and left in the middle of the night for who knows what reason.

Ryoko Age 17 - Shy, quiet, enjoys sticking to himself. He dyes his hair because why not, and he's the sweetest guy in the world. Kiyoshi Age 17 (Ryoko's twin) - Outgoing, adventurous, and loves the ladies. He's usually flirting with a million people instead of doing school work. Chihiro Age 13 (I was totally not watching Spirited Away while making this family....) - Can be sweet, but is bossy most of the time. She's brooding, and thinks far too much even for a 13 year old girl.
