I have indeed had an ATSV fic idea that I'm kinda sorta writing, so I'm not sure if this counts? buuuuuuut it's a post-BTSV "Peter B tries to reconcile with Miles" fic where Peter realizes he's kind of been a shit mentor to the kid he loves so much (not a Peter B hate fic, I just think he could do a little better), that I'm also going to stuff a billion headcanons into about what happens to the Spot and Miguel maybe takes a chill pill.

also Cindy Moon is there because if Lord and Miller wont give her to me I will MAKE her canon in my fic-verse

Ikr?? I definitely get Balin and maybe Dwalin vibes from him. And of course those deep, sensuous voices from Thorin and Goliath XD 

I’ve got the beginnings of a fic plot in my brain, so watching the show should fuel inspiration

3. Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

Hmm this is a bit of a hard one--I didn't listen to that many artists whose music was totally new to me, but I did get more into a few artists who I'd only listened to a little bit previously. Mitski and Raleigh Ritchie would probably be my big ones there.

As far as someone brand new to me, I haven't listened to a lot of his other stuff yet, but I've had Love Somebody by Rotimi on repeat for the past few weeks. Great tune.

11. Something you want to do again next year?

Not to sound like a broken record, but I would love to visit New Orleans again. I'd also definitely like to continue working on my original fiction projects.

💕 whats your favorite part of your writing process?

Over the past year or so, I've realized that my favorite part of the writing process might actually be revising and editing? Which is hilarious because I used to absolutely hate having to write multiple drafts of anything. I specifically enjoy when you're going over your draft and you have those little aha moments, where suddenly you realize that actually ABC should happen like XYZ or this makes more sense if you structure the chapter like that. It's so satisfying when everything finally starts to really click.

I also enjoy outlining the story for similar reasons (figuring out the best way to make things fit together), but editing means I'm basically only one step away from being done with the whole thing, so I like it more for that reason 👍🏾

🤔 why do you write fic?

Terrifying question. Why do I write fic? 

I mean in general, I write because I love stories and I love storytelling! And I (unfortunately??) feel a compulsion to take part in that process. With fic specifically, sometimes I'll interact with certain media and I'll find myself needing to write down something about it, even if it's just a bunch of thoughts and ideas that I don't necessarily intend to share. And then it's like wait, this thing I started writing is actually kind of interesting, so maybe I should keep going with it and actually share it lol

Also with fic, it's nice to be able to write in a kind of low-stakes environment, even though I invariably end up agonizing over and getting consumed by my fic projects in ways that do not feel low-stakes at all <3

ITS OK I WAS IN THE BACKCOUNTRY AM LATE REPLYING also much appreciated <3 it was a nice birthday struggling along a very scenic trail at 30c over snow (???) and then I spilled champagne on all my clothes which is like death in bear country (had to wash in a freezing lake) and today we waded a thigh high bog in the rain for a half kilometer. I had a great time because there's probably something wrong with me /thumbs up

our theater had a lot of laughs (and a lot of alarmingly small kids??? esp since it's rated 15a where i am)

That’s good! Honestly, it wasn’t NEARLY as gorey/bloody as I was expecting, the worst scene was That One Part at the end when Riot got Eddie, but... yeah, I would NOT want to bring a kid under 11/12 or so to this, and even that’s if they’re cool with lots of action-y violence.
