After the mall at Angel Central, and not being able to see a film, we decided to make something of the evening, and hit a couple of pubs. First the Lexington, which is a fab place, though we got blasted out by a cocky DJ, who felt compelled to compete with the thumping music upstairs. Maybe it was disco night and we were none the wiser? Just left after one drink. Shame so many pubs feel they must create a manic pumping vibe to keep customers. In my opinion, clubs are the place to go for loud pumping music, and pubs are places to meet friends and TALK. Second place was The Castle.
