You do band imagines right? Could you do one where PTV walks into the small coffee shop that you work at but no one knows who they are except for you so you try to play it cool but Jaime knows? And if you do names, could you use Ryan for the girl?
It had been one hell of a week at Wailand’s Coffee Shop. Because it was just me and the boss, Eric, managing the place, we were always pretty busy. But that didn’t make me any less exhausted and I was more than happy that today was Friday. The weekend brought many things including my bed, tons of blankets and Netflix. Glancing up at the clock, I let out a sigh. I still had an hour or so left before I could make the great escape to my beloved house. I was pulled out of my thoughts with the soft jingle of the door and plastered a smile on my face to greet my customers. Only to have it wiped off and replaced with shock. I felt my eyes widen as my jaws went slack. Where was the press? The cameras, The fans? Pierce the Veil was in Wailand’s. Why? No, more importantly, how? These people were my heroes and here they were, casually checking out the coffee shop. Mike had picked up one of the mugs and seemed to be fussing with Vic over which one was better. Tony had his phone out and I had the urge to check my Twitter, wondering if he was tweeting about the shop. And Jaime had an amused expression on his face. I looked around the shop, confused as to why no one was freaking out. Then I remembered how washed up this town was. I hated it. But I knew very well who they were. And Jaime knew I knew. Sucking in a shaky breath, I ran my bottom lip through my teeth before I opened my mouth to speak.
"Um, hi. Welcome to Wailand’s guys. What can I get you?"
Jaime smirked and walked up to the counter and I took an involuntary step back. “Hi there. We’re just here for me. I want something warm, sweet, and full of caffeine. What do you suggest?”
I don’t think you all understand. These people were my heroes. As in, I’ve been saving up to go to one of their concerts and then to a meet and greet and here they were, strolling along like it’s nobody’s business.
Blowing out a breath I didn’t know I was holding, I turned to the menu above my head and pointed to my favourite caramel drink, not entirely trusting my voice. I watched as Jaime’s eyes flashed to the board before he looked back at me. “Great, I’ll have that, then.” I nodded once as I turned to make his drink, still in shock.
Placing the top on the brown disposable cup, I pointed to the stand with the sugars, creamers, and napkins. “You can add sugar or something over there.” I gave a nervous smile before I spoke again. “But I don’t think you’ll need anything. It’s pretty sweet, just like you asked.”
"Thanks," he leaned in across the counter a bit, narrowing his eyes, trying to read the name scrawled on my name tag. "Ryan. Cool name." I watched as he took a sip of his drink and then smiled. "Perfect. Just what I needed." He pulled out his phone and raised it up. "Can I have a picture?"
"Yes." I answered too fast. He smirked again and I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Cool." Jaime held the phone up and smiled into the camera, flashing his dimples and I almost melted. Bringing the phone back to eye level, he observed the picture and nodded to himself. "Great. Thanks again, Ryan. C’mon guys."
I watched as Tony stood up from the seat he’d been occupying in the corner and Vic and Mike hesitantly put down the mugs. Jaime looked over his shoulder and offered me a small smile and a wave of the hand before he opened the door.
"Wait!" I called out. Jaime turned back around, giving me an innocent look.
"Can I have your autographs?" I watched as they looked at each other before Vic smiled at me.
“‘Course!” Grinning, I pulled out some spare paper and a pen and watched as Vic, Jaime, Tony, then Mike signed it.
"Thank you so much." I said barely containing my excitement. I listened to a chorus of ‘your welcomes’ as I looked down at the authentic Pierce the Veil signatures on the paper. I hear the door chime again and looked up. "Bye!" I waved.
Jaime smirked at me a final time, a look I’d never forget. “Hope to see you around, Ryan.” And just like that they were gone.
