I am just gonna put it out here on my most controversial opinion on here cuz honestly this anime just...it made me think things I never thought to have considered and given what I have seen and been told, and its beautiful as is.
The controversy regarding Ichigo is the dumbest fucking shit I have ever seen and heard, and I will personally fight all of you at once and lay down some cold hard facts.
Oh the horror, a girl expressed her feelings towards the boy she held strong feelings towards, and said boy didn't even return the kiss? And this is probably in the mindset in not just her expressing herself, but thinking it was the only way to stop that boy from potentially killing himself with the limited information she knew? (Granted there were other ways too, but little of them were actually working on Hiro)
Honestly, throwing threats at a real life person who isn't that character at all, over a god damn ship war...its not only pathetic, but it disgusts me.
Ichigo is a brilliant character! 02 is also a brilliant character! All for their own reasons! They are absolutely flawed and that is what makes them great! Hell all of the girls in the show is amazing!
Any reason is valid for not liking a character except you didn't like how they "tried to ruin your ship". Bitch this ain't your show, and those characters aren't yours to control either. You never had a say in how the show went, or what the characters did. Fanfiction/fanart IS an option to make it how you wanted to go, but you absolutely have no right to bitch and moan if you don't want to make yourself do even that.
You have an imagination. Use it.
On a less negative note/harsh conclusion, anime is to be enjoyed by everyone and is meant to be a community that is open minded and not threatening hard working people over reasons as petty that I mentioned or honestly...over something that isn't real and in the long run, might not be something you will remember in such great detail.
And if you argue that you will, trust me...you won't. And this is coming from someone who CAN remember specific and strange details of conversations I had with people years ago.
Stop fighting. It is okay and encouraging to be passionate about things you like. But there is a very thin line of passion and obsession, and once you cross it, you do things you normally won't do. So take a step back, and think before you do, okay?
