It would be one thing if this was genuine, in which case it would probably irritate me a bit because they're lying about genuinely following/liking my work and have clearly done no research or they'd know I didn't need nor want this offer, but no harm no foul.
To predate upon people like this is just fucking wrong. Yes, I know, in the grand scene of things this is inconsequential and a stupid thing to get mad about, but fuck it, I'm mad, because I got excited and then realised it was just some lowlife trying to steal my money by pretending to have my career...
