I will be showing you how I add magic to my images in this #Ps_Swipe tutorial! ⢠First, I used the Quick Selection Tool on my subject and added her to a new layer. I selected a starry sky and added it to my base image. With Edit>Transform>Scale, I adjusted the starry sky to cover below the grass line. With my starry sky selected, I added a Layer Mask and used the Gradient Tool to add a soft gradient. I used the Eraser Tool to clean up the leftover color, bringing the grass to the foreground. I moved my subject layer to the top and used the Eraser & Burn Tools to smooth the edges and darken her hair. ⢠I chose the Magnetic Lasso Tool to select the door. After copying/pasting it to my base image, I scaled down the door and turned down the opacity to fine-tune my placement. I used the Magic Wand Tool & Eraser Tool to complete the door cutout. ⢠I used the Blur Tool to smooth the edges of the door. I went to Filter>Noise>Add Noise and Edit>Fade Add Noise to make the aesthetic of the image cohesive. I lowered the door opacity until I could see my subject well and used the Eraser Tool to bring her hands and leg in front of the door. ⢠After copying/pasting several glowing light photos to my base image for the glow effect, I changed the Blend Mode to Screen, and moved them behind my door and subject layers. Using Edit>Free Transform, I stretched the glows and erased the edges. ⢠I turned off the door layersâ visibility and used the Clone Stamp Tool to remove the grass that was in the doorway. I merged all layers, blended the door into the grass line using the Clone Stamp Tool, and used the Blur Tool to help me blend the sharper brush strokes into the image. ⢠I used Content-Aware to delete the small moon and then copied a different moon onto my base image, changed the Blend Mode to Screen, scaled and placed it. I removed some stars from the moon area with the Clone Stamp Tool. Finally, I used Image>Adjustments>Curves/Brightness & Contrast to adjust as preferred and used the Burn Tool to add shading to the door. Thank you for following along!
