“  i’m  -  tired.  like   ALL  THE  TIME.  i mean  -  it probably  ,  it probably has something to do with the -- with my daughter being  .  .  .  an infant.  but.  ”  she’s always had trouble sleeping  ,  anyways.  solveig stretches  ,  leans her head against kitty’s shoulder  ,  wraps the blankets firmer around her.  “  you  -  do you ever feel like you could like  .  .  .  sleep forever.  ”

   charlie let out a sigh, dropping the dish she was washing back into the sink in exhaustion. she knew this woman, whoever she was, didn’t mean any HARM. she’d witnessed cece’s little trick of appearing to fade in and out of reality, she’d only wanted to help. she just had no idea what she was getting herself into. it didn’t help charlie was generally suspicious of strangers, and preferred them to stay at arm’s reach, rather than standing in her kitchen looking like they knew what they were on about.

   drying her hands on a towel, charlie turned to face the other woman.
