sometimes mundane witchcraft is putting a glamour spell on your makeup or stirring a sigil into your coffee, and sometimes it's sending baneful energy by flipping off every cop car you see, and I think that's beautiful

No one here knows me irl so it's fairly safe to say I attended a protest that turned ..... somewhat sour yesterday and that's got me thinking about protest magic.
I'm gonna reread Witchcraft Activism and have a good long think so I'm prepared for next time - yesterday I attempted a few jinxes but without any kind of preparation and lowkey gave myself a headache, so I'm gonna work on methods for that as well as protection for fellow protesters.
So you know...I might end up writing a post on protest magic as protest season is coming up, the UK is just getting started early because our government is trying to put some absolute bullshit through rn that would fuck over Roma and travellers, completely remove the right to peaceful protest and put a higher penalty on defacing a statue than on rape. What the fuck.
