As the Festival of the Sun soon approached, Solias garnered more and more tourists, which for Aqua meant more people to watch out for while atop the lifeguard’s chair at the beach. Most of the time all she had to do was give a stern glare and blow her whistle and most shenanigans would stop immediately, but at the moment she had more of a warning than a reprimand.
“Hey! I wouldn’t put that to your ear if I were you.” She pointed at the conch shell in the teen’s hand. “I bet there’s something still living in it.”
