Crested geckos are SO SO SO COOL!! Like chameleons they can kinda change their scale color, but they reaaaally only do it when they're stressed or hunting! And its not like... they turn a completely or anything, but some parts like their head and belly get a brighter shade!! AND!! THEY ALSO MAKE SOUNDS!!! THEY MAKE LITTLE CHIRPS AND BARKS!!! They do that when they are upset or being territorial, or when they wanna mate! They lick their eyes 'cause they don't have eyelids to get rid of random dirt that gets on their eye!! They have this thin clear thingy that keeps the bad stuff from actually touching their eye, and they just lick it off!
Crested geckos are so cool looking... they look like they have a teeny tiny hood that some snakes have! AND THEY HAVE BIG EYELASHES!!!
That guy looks well taken care of! Brighter scales usually mean that the gecko is happy and healthy! And the nails are actually cut! I see waaay to many pictures of reptiles that don't have their nails cut...
