just gotta put this out of the way bc some were saying that Tom is petty bc they put his name second instead of first (like in the first trailer) which I think has nothing do with anything bc I cannot imagine him being petty like that (also I think on some poster it is at first place so like whatever lmaoo) also some are saying heās upset bc he couldnāt do 1917 bc of it and it was very critically acclaimed but thatās also not really correct bc ffh promo was also a big reason why he couldnāt do the movie so like i believe this has to do with some promo strategy or he doesnāt want to post bc thereās still not reliable info out about when the release is and how it will be released š¤·āāļø
Yeah no Iām with you...no way is Tom that petty over a trailer. I doubt he cares at all about that. Both he and Daisy are the leads so of course both their names are top bill. I think thatās quite a conclusion for people to jump to...Why are people making Tom out to be an asshole for something we literally donāt even know his stance on?? He may not be obligated to post the trailer like he does for SONY films?
I also donāt think heās bitter about 1917. That movie took basically a whole year to film, all of which TomĀ completed multiple films during that time; all of which he said he was very proud to be a part of (TDATT, Onward, CW, Dolittle, FFH, Infinity War/Endgame were all basically filmed one after the other). Also, TDATT and Cherry are both in talks for him to be nominated. So I really donāt think he cares that much that he wasnāt in 1917. Itās not like he isnāt getting opportunities.
Sorry for going off...I just donāt agree at all that heās this petty over this stuff. We have no idea why he didnāt post the trailer. For all we know, thereās a very good explanation and jumping to these conclusions just make me sad.
