Stiles licks his lips nervously and the way Dereks’ eyes follow the movement makes him feel exposed. Stiles shudders.

He pokes Derek in the chest.

“Bad wolf. Der, I need... I need some space to get... to get over... just to find where I fit, now I’m back here for good,” Stiles says.

When Stiles suggested more pack bonding, he should’ve known Derek would pick something challenging like paintball. His body wasn't built for speed and agility, and his only combat experience was playing God of War on his PS4.

”Choose your poison, concrete jungle or woods?” Their guide asks, looking to Derek.

”Woods.” Derek decides, losing the shirt, looking every bit the sexy commando of Stiles dreams. Derek strides toward him, purposefully, ”You're with me.”

”Me?” Stiles squeaks, clutching his padded vest, ”Why me; I suck at this stuff.”

Derek looks at him, fondly. ”How else am I supposed to protect you?”
