Just realized, we never showed you some details of the #yondu teeth. It was Tinas first attempt in the making of prosthetic-teeth, so it was a lot try and error till this pair of teeth was done. At first was a cast of my own teeth necessary - most of you will know that from the dentist. I filled the alginate-casts with plaster and than it was time to model the Yondu-teeth over the cast of my teeth. I used dental polymer and it was damn tricky to model that stuff, cause it become firm very very fast. There was a lot sanding and polishing necessary. The silver teeth I made from transfer metal and than I painted the teeth with acrylic paint and with a saliva resistent lacquer. And than they were done! 😄 At first it was a strange feeling talking with them, but over time I get used to them and now it's no problem to wear them a whole long convention-day.
