I’m a bit confused by the question, because I’ve never weighed the pros and cons of reading a manga series. I start reading something and either like it and keep reading, or don’t like it and stop. It’s not something I make a decision out of. But to answer your question, I guess obvious pros would be a unique, well-developed, psychologically deep story (although there are also readers who prefer light, fluffy or super smutty stuff, so that depends very much on the person), great characters and many many feels. The only real con I can think of is the obvious danger of getting into a highly addictive series that isn’t finished yet and comes out at a pretty slow pace. And maybe the heavy themes the story evolves around.

pros:

can be v intimidating to other folks but has a soft spot for you

they will keep u v safe

will hunt down ur exes if you really want them to

cons:

you can’t keep their aliases straight

it is equally likely that someone else is coming after them for revenge and you could get caught up in that

their job is literally murdering ppl? like. that’s probably gonna come back to bite them in the ass someday
