they're a nepo baby with parents who signed them up for a program that would reward both them and their parents an opportunity and fly (live) up in space when the earth becomes inhabitable as long as the kid shows consistent excellence as they grow up and become ideal candidates to represent an ideal human to participate in space society. The kid did not like the idea of going to space when they barely had gone outside of their home, let alone seen a forest or animals outside of small flies. They also struggle to see what part of them is "an ideal candidate" as all they have is a rich background. They don't have superb strength, special intellect, or anything and sometimes they find themself plain.
