Usually when I tell people I want to teach math I get responses like "ew" and "why would you do that to yourself?" Well my friends, I have a new reason to add to my list of why I want to teach math. You get to basically make up words whenever you want if it helps explain anything in your lesson. Here are some examples of words I have heard actual college math professors use that I'm not entirely sure are real words: formulaic, proofy, and derivativey.
