'Star of David' and Proof slug on antique British military swords
I have been asked many times about the “star” etched on so many Victorian era military swords. Matt gives a good answer, along with additional information about the gilt brass proof disc. In addition to Matt’s information, I have also read that the symbol is two interlocking triangles to symbolize strength.
