*looks at Barnaby* Mmmmmmm... You're kinda cute.
(For real, though, you draw Barnaby amazingly - I am just very easily flustered when admitting this stuff 😅)
Thank you from the artist as well!

Hey y'all. I did it. I set up a side blog where I will be posting all my snippets, Prompt Fills, and fic parts.
Highly Specific Scenarios I Love, As Prompts
Character A and Character B are desperately holding hands because they both know that if they let go one of them will die/disappear but Character A realises that the only way Character B will survive is if they let go. Character B realises this a moment too late and cries out, but Character A has already let go.
Character A and Character B are effortlessly holding a conversation/flirting/bickering back and forth while they fight bad guys together. Character A reveals their feelings for Character B just as they come together and narrowly avoid hitting each other. The fight continues around them.
Character A is desperately begging Character B to believe them and come with them to safety but Character B has been lied to in the past and doesn't believe them, so Character A reveals something extremely personal/reveals their feelings for Character B and it shocks them into taking their hand.
Character A has a special ability that they're struggling to unlock and Character B offers to help them - but they make it worse for Character A to concentrate, though they remain oblivious.
Character A has done something highly dangerous/reckless and survives somehow, but Character B thought they'd never see them again and in their relief they accidentally reveal their feelings.
Character A has a volatile/dangerous power that they're concerned about hurting Character B with - but they're not worried at all.
Character A is reminiscing about their past and Character B is absolutely entranced. Character A pauses and looks over and catches Character B looking at them with complete undisguised love and adoration.
Character A and Character B are childhood friends and as adults they recount the same event from their childhood totally differently from their own perspectives. They piece together the whole story after all these years and realise something personal/important about each other.
Prompt combo challenge (in no particular order): one au for all this - 45, 8, 11, 25, 14, 41 (can you tell I’m thinking childhood rivals who are forced to share a bed for some reason or another as adults 😆)
8, 45, 14 (only a couple cause i want to keep this under 1000 words. itd be a full blown fic otherwise 😂)
“Don’t smile at me like that,” Clarke says, pointedly ignoring the other woman in the room as she stuffs the clothes from her duffel into the bureau. She tries to keep adequate space between her stuff and Lexa’s, but it’s nearly impossible given the hotel accommodations. They’re lucky there’s two beds. “You know it drives me crazy.”
Out of the corner of her eye, Lexa huffs quietly, looking away. She crosses her legs, reclined back in a no doubt uncomfortable armchair and picks up her glass from the end table. It’s just water, but she holds it like a glass of wine, and Clarke wishes there was something like that in the fridge. At the very least it’d be able to take the edge off.
The odds were stacked against her from the start and it was her own fault for refusing to see the signs. An all expenses paid business trip to northern Michigan to oversee a business merger and new location between Polis Tech and Arc Industries. She had jumped at the chance to leave her packed San Diego office for something more rural and full of nature and now there was nothing but regret. The scenery wasn’t worth it.
Note to future Clarke, she thinks, always read the fine print.
“It’s been how long?”
Clarke purses her lips, stuffing the last bits of her work wear into the drawers before reaching for the t-shirt and sweats she packed for bed. “I’m taking a shower,” is all she says in response, intimately aware of the way Lexa’s eyes follow her as she makes the short trip to the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
The lock clicks audibly and she wastes no time in stripping out of her business casual, kicking it into a corner by the sink. The water is a satisfying degree of hot, leaving her red and steaming by the time she’s able to pull herself from the sanctity of the shower stall and into her pajamas. She takes her time to run her fingers through her towel dried hair, trying for some semblance of put together, and she's not sure if she succeeds. She feels rattled and out of her element and it’s all because of someone she never thought she’d see again.
She doesn’t let that stop her, though. She won’t give Lexa the satisfaction.
The door makes hardly a noise when she opens it, only a soft squeal to signify her presence, and Lexa doesn’t even bother to look up, perched at the edge of her chosen bed, engrossed in a take out menu.
“Want anything?” Lexa asks, turning the paper over. She glances up with a flick of her eyes and Clarke turns away.
“No,” she says, grabbing a glass from the cupboards and filling it with the last of her bottled water from the airport. She takes a sip.
“Are you going to be like this for the next two weeks, Clarke?”
Clarke’s head swivels. “Be like what?” Clarke says with more than a little bit of bite, putting her glass down onto the counter. It clunks loudly against the granite. “You’re the one with the problem.”
Lexa sets aside the menu. “Current evidence would suggest otherwise.”
“Is everything always a competition with you?” Clarke says. “We’re not in high school anymore.”
“And yet you can’t seem to let it go,” Lexa replies, nonchalant, and anger is quick to swell in Clarke’s chest.
Clarke closes the distance and Lexa stands, the difference in height nearly making Clarke stop. She doesn’t remember Lexa like this. She remembers them on an even playing field, eye to eye. It’s unfair. To see change like this up close, but she perseveres.
“Don’t you remember?” Clarke says, looking up, unblinking. “Even when we were kids, I always kicked your ass.”
Lexa’s eyes don’t leave hers. “Because I let you.”
Clarke shoves her away and Lexa falls backward onto the bed, her light laughter ringing in Clarke's ears. It’s no wonder why she follows. “Shut up,'' Clarke growls, though it sounds half-hearted even to her ears as she moves to straddle Lexa’s waist.
“You haven’t changed,” Lexa murmurs.
“Can we not do this right now,” Clarke says, untucking the button-up from Lexa's pants and slipping her hands underneath. She drags her hands along soft skin until the fabric of the shirt bunches under Lexa’s breasts, her toned stomach on full display in the dull yellow overhead light of the hotel room. The desire is like a pull and Clarke leans down until they’re both chest to chest, taking Lexa’s lips in a kiss that feels 15 years too late.
But Lexa kisses back, tongue and teeth, grabbing at Clarke’s hips to urge her impossibly closer, and Clarke resists only for a moment so she can push up her t-shirt and feel the warmth of Lexa’s skin against her own.
“I feel like I can’t breathe when I’m around you.” She admits it like the secret it is. Quietly.
Whispered against Lexa's lips.
How long will you be doing kiss prompts?
I don’t think I really have a time limit on them... if someone sends me one a week from now I might still do it.
That said, I’ve done a lot of them in a very short time and I’m a bit tired, so I might take a while, or not do it at all.
Basically - if you have one you’d like to see, feel free to send in a prompt whenever! I might not do it, but I will try!

🍭Some Festive Prompts🍭 (Dialogue Edition!)
Solo Prompt!
“Hi, want to make snow angels with me?”
“Hey, I’ve got hot chocolate with giant marshmallows with your name on it! I just need help with one little thing…”
“If one more person offers me a peppermint, I’m going to scream.”
“They’re my snow family, and if you run them down, they will haunt you forever.”
“Quick! I need a carrot! Immediately!”
“You did not go out without a jacket or gloves… did you?”
“My goal is to become a snowman, and nobody is going to stop me!”
“I hear bells ringing in my sleep. Make. It. Stop.”
“Sweater weather! We officially have sweater weather!”
“It’s December! Why do we still have eighty degree weather?”
“Winter Break! I’m free! Time to catch up on… oh no. What now?”
“I can be your snow angel… if you want.”
“Think throwing snowballs will discourage the carolers?”
“That is not a snowman costume, and you’ll freeze if you go out like that.”
