Thinking of this, I felt as if my heart had plunged into a bottomless abyss. A dark mist rose from the depths, creeping upward and wrapping around my soul—a terrible, suffocating desire for destruction clawing at my chest.

Those bright, dazzling eyes... they should be on me. Only me.

-mochis not used to being vulnerable. she pushes away her feelings in favor of tangible achievements, like her family's empire or her wealth. but beas not impressed with her status or money or tech (although they are pretty cool) beas interested in mochi for her. and this flusters her!! a lot!!!

-she assumes that romantic sweet-talking or a confession will be easy. after all, the typical romantic type in books is someone confident and strong, like mochi! but every time mochi tries vocalizing her feelings to bea, its nothing like in the books. she stutters and stumbles, and dare i say stammers.

-mochi takes a few different approaches. she tries the typical approach, maybe showing up to the ranch with roses or something like that, only to chicken out last minute upon seeing bea. she calls bea over the rancher exchange system and tries to do a subtle, chill flirt, only to again melt over beas confused- yet probably thoroughly entertained at this point- reaction

-mochi doesnt give up often. but with this, shes just about ready to. bea brings out something in her that not much ever has! she wants a relationship with bea reaaally badly, but is just about ready to call it quits in pursuing it

-on the same day mochis made this decision, a certain someone stops by her raceway. its bea! beas very much gotten the message at this point, and feels the same way for mochi. the only difference being, of course, beas a lot more in tune with her emotions, and doesnt find it half as hard to express it.
