if you identify as #mixedrace, why can’t you be seen as mixed race? why do we have to choose between races on forms? why does the media choose our identity for us by picking a side when reporting about us? what is so wrong with saying #biracial or #multiracial? let’s be seen! let’s be heard! signing this petition is one step in the right direction for us! a chance for a true community when no one else accepts us as enough! 100,000 signatures seems like a lot with only a 30 day deadline but word of mouth and social media has so much power! and our parents and ancestors before us fought for our rights with less! imagine going before congress like mildred and richard loving did in the 1960’s when #interracialmarriage and #interracialfamilies were deemed illegal? because of their fight, we now have #lovingday and in 1967 anyone was able to marry no matter their color. or like susan graham and chris ashe did in the 1990’s when many parents and students had anxiety about how to classify themselves on scantron tests or census forms? because of their fight with congressional boards and committees, the year 2000 was the first time you could pick more than one race on united states census forms which helped multiracial peoples be counted instead of being invisible. it also helped other #minority groups such as #nativeamericans, people who identified as native increased 160% that year because guess what #werestillhere! #projectrace was developed during this time and more multiracial advocates are stepping up to fight for a multiracial category. its our turn. join the conversation. sign the petition. we could make history! the link is in my bio and it only takes a minute to sign! please spread the word so we can meet our goal! thank you in advance! and thanks again to @tashar0se @mixedpresent and the many other mixed pages for helping me spread the word so her idea could come to fruition! #strengthinnumbers my friends! #linkinbio 🙌🏼♥️ https://www.instagram.com/p/BxY5QmklNXI/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=bfha8ihvbpol

Apparently the story is about some kids with headphones, and free-running is cool. Post apocalypse world kinda thing. I made most of the concept on tegakie back in highschool, i will find the archive when i have more time.
