Umm yeah I haven't posted any art for a while, combo of the Crouts secret santa and then having zero motivation over the holidays. However Toxicator is already driving me insane and yesterday after the newest teaser I was spurred into action and I finished this drawing so fucking fast lol. A quick lore dump for those interested- still ironing out some details, but here goes:
She was a phalanx researcher who created the toxic slime as a byproduct from weaponising the Nemesis' bodily secretions. They became curious as to what it could be further used for, though a disagreement turned physical altercation with the Phalanx's CEO on what that purpose should be lead to her accidentally being pushed into a vat of it. Due to the fact it's part Nemesis, the chemical doesn't just eat through flesh, but fuses with it, leaving Avery with a distant connection to the Nemesis hivemind, and an all-consuming obsession with her chemical, which has become her source of power.

Katharine Hamnett x Selfridges: Project Ocean Capsule Collection
Selfridges of London have launched their “Project Ocean” campaign and enlisted designer Katharine Hamnett to assist them in raising some awareness, and money for the cause. The campaign hopes to raise awareness about over fishing and the general state of the oceans, and Hamnett has lent her infamous oversized typography designs that were huge in the ’80s to the project. The collection features bold and poignant phrases such as “STOP AND THINK,” “NO MORE FISH IN THE SEA?” “LOVE” and “SAVE THE WORLD.”
