As to not have this blog be dry as I work on the pages, I have decided to open a Q&A!

I will also be answering some pre-set general questions such as how the concept came to be and some in-universe details!

SO as yall may know I am working on Mathima, a show/book idea about many fields of math being represented by anthro numbers and unique locations! Well uhh, I may develop in into a comic.

Thaaas right, Im gonna attempt to make it a comic for all to see. Since animation is something I hate finishing, and books providing only text to describe, I have decided a comic may be the best output to my Mathima series!

If anything, I could spread it into an animation format, but for now due to constraints in time, I may stick to a comic format!

With that, here are some new sketches of Seven! Specifically his post-negative version as thats his most prominent form in the series.

This is a webcomic made by me, Isa P.

Mathima is a webcomic about a unique world filled with mathematics. The story follows a numberid named Seven, who starts his long journey traveling around the infinite world of Infinus to expand the studies of each branch of math that Infinus offers.

This webcomic is a love letter to mathematics. Ive seen many kinds of media with math as its subject, but never ones that blend a fun tone with the deeper complex parts of math such as Algebra or Calculus. This comic is not only to briefly educate but to also have people enter a colorful world with engaging arcs and characters that utilize mathematics to venture into their own planet.

The comic will be under the #mathima tag for easy searching!

Mathima as of now has no scheduled posting, so hiatuses may be common. A schedule may be set up soon to ensure steady uploads.

AAGH Theres so many Im proud of!!

Id say it would be Seven, Xagon, Eicanto, and Ninety.

Seven because I want to give him the sense that hes a traveller, so he has larger feet/calves while having a thin build

Xagon because of the uniqueness of her form compared to the rest of the Shapeids in the dystopian version of Geometria. She is meant to be a rebellious Shapeid who hates the new form of governing, so her form reflects that by having slight chevron shapes

Eicanto due to how much fun I had with her design. Since I had a dancer/entertainer in mind, she has lots of jewelery with imagery of the number 8, as well as giving her a twinge of chub as a form of body positivity

And Ninety for blending an abstract character with intimidating aspects. She may be made out of angles, but her form exudes authority and fear. She has a sashaying walk and a fan thats always in her hands, and huge wings that flutter behind her when needed. She knows her goal and she will put it to use
