So basically he’s like, the dad figure of the group? And it’s like super chill, you know? He kinda freaked out about the new scenery at first but grew to accept it and such. He learned not to care, though was distraught when he found out he couldn’t talk to Papyrus anymore. Though, he was somewhat settled when he found that Papyrus would remain safe in his timeline no matter what.

He tries to help others relax to the situation of being in a strange new environment, and so he is looked up to as someone who manages everything well. He also works to break up arguments between people, and likes to call out people who annoy people on purpose to start fights. 

He adapts well to not having his abilities, as he prefers not to use them when unnecessary anyways. Though, we know that eventually, there will come a moment when he absolutely needs his abilities. 

He hangs out around Underfell and Underswap Sans a lot, who each have their own groups of friends. Sans likes to listen to Underfell rant before offering advice while Sans likes to treat Underswap Sans like a little brother to him. As such, he grows protective of Underswap, and becomes paranoid whenever Underswap isn’t in view. 

Sans likes to talk to a bunch of the other Sanses, liking to try out new things and finding peace in the fact that time is linear and he doesn’t have to worry about everything just ending and restarting. So, he puts actual effort into making sure he makes a good impression, as he feels like he might be stuck with them forever. This includes getting to know what makes them think the way they do and fully understanding their motivations.
