Today is one of the most important days of my life, because exactly a year ago I drew Alexander I.

Honestly, knowing myself, I didn't expect to still love him a year later, but it still happened 🥹

And on top of all this (I don't know if it's thanks to Sasha or not), I've also fallen in love with Napoleon, whom I previously ignored along with the French Revolution. But I can't help but say that I love them as much as I love history (both world and Russian).

The phrase in the drawing is from the anthem of the Russian Empire, which I listened to for the first time at the time. I really enjoy listening to all kinds of historical (and other) anthems.

Сегодня один из самых важных дней в моей жизни, потому что ровно год назад я нарисовала Александра I.

Честно говоря, зная себя, я не ожидала, что буду любить его и через год, но это всё-таки случилось 🥹

И вдобавок ко всему этому (не знаю, благодаря Саше или нет), я ещё и влюбилась в Наполеона, которого раньше игнорировала вместе с Французской революцией. Но не могу не сказать, что люблю их так же сильно, как и историю (и мировую, и русскую).

Фраза на рисунке взята из гимна Российской империи, который я тогда впервые услышал. Мне очень нравится слушать всевозможные исторические (и другие) гимны.
