Fly of the day is a Gammarus or Scud imitation intended for Saltwater and light rods, or as a second fly on the leader. This time i used a bigger hook that what i normally uses for my Gammarus flies. The Nagales Suwacky #4. Nice deep bend, thin light but very strong wire, and a tiny barb. I like it! The tail and whiskers is Pro Angelhair HD in Cobber, and for the body Pro Salmo Supreme in the color Fiery Brown. To give it all that realistic look i topped it off with the Pro Gammarus shell #Medium black, locked it into place with a 0.20 mm monofilament ribbing, and coated it with some UV Love.
