Its about czech fantastic literature from the end of the 19th century :) only like 5 books I needed were easily accessible, the rest (about 25 books) is... proving to be more difficult. I'm not just writing about the famous authors, I'm also writing about the less-known authors who sometimes wrote... well... crap, so yeah, its interesting :D For example there was this one novel which started really interestingly, it was about airships going missing. Then it got wild. Martians, who were actually giants living in Antarctica, got involved, also there was this evil scientist who had an airship hidden in a some sort of cloud, oh also there was this nation of dwarves in Africa that one guy discovered that was completely unrelated to the plot! And...stuff like that. But not to sound entirely hateful, I also read books which I never even heard about that turned to be really interesting and just... a fresh look at the fantasy genre, even though they're more than one hundred years old. I think fantasy would benefit if it tried to return to its roots instead of endlessly copying Tolkien or GRRM, but hey, that's just... a whole new discourse
