Umi grabs her things and swings her legs out of the cab, forgetting to thank the driver. She's more focused in looking up at the house she'll live in, trying to absorb all... this.
It's weird, how this place is just β a regular city, only more modern than she's used to. No wilderness or monsters or a mission to save this world. All she has to do is get settled at a nice, two-story home and enjoy her new life, no strings attached.
Frowning, she unlocks the door and walks in.
The place even has a foyer. It really is nice, huh... She turns and enters the first door to the left, finding herself in the living room β with a total stranger.
Startled, Umi takes a step back and withholds an unladylike shriek, looking at the guy in her house warily. Well, unless...
