Just a friendly reminder with valentine's day coming up: DO NOT GIVE POKEMON AS GIFTS!!!
In some places, giving your partner a Luvdisc or even a Alomomola as a gift for valentine's is tradition, as they symbolize love in many cultures. What people forget is that these Luvdiscs and Alomomola are also living creatures, who require specific care and attention, and can't just be ignored in a fish tank all day. I can't tell you how many Luvdiscs and Alomomola come into the lab during the week following valentine's day every year, as people realize that their partner's sweet romantic gesture is actually a lot of work to care for.
So please, stick to chocolate and flowers this valentine's day. Both your partner, and heart-shaped pokemon everywhere, will thank you.

Professor Maple is happy to join Nurse Meg at the Pokemon Center! Together they can research, care for and live alongside Pokemon! Maple is common in Canada, referring to their indigenous heritage and is a strong beautiful ever changing tree!

My cousin started to play Pokémon moon again and I’ve been helping her out with it and Pokémon in general, so I’ve decided that my trainersona is gonna be a professor instead of a breeder!
Meet Professor Maple: A giant know-it-all, overzealous, bratty, and hot headed ginger who mainly specializes in the complexity of Pokémon, all that folklore and backstory bs along with Pokémon types (like why isn’t Banette dark type but Inkay is) She has a Lucario named Wonder [m] Rowlet (it’s a baby) named Jade [f], Spinda named Pan (the one with a bow) [f] — I have a fakemon world who needs a professor, and the name Willow was already taken (fuck you Pokémon go) so might as well throw Maple into the hot mess of the Kimana region.
So is there stuff like mega evolutions in the empiric region? -☯️
It’s not currently planned but things are always changing behind the scenes so who knows!
