So I'm a BioShock fan. It's my favorite game and I love talking about it and making art lol.
A while back there was a Comic Con in my area, and I went wearing a (very last minute) Jack cosplay. A few people there asked me about the eve hypo I made. It's made from recycled materials, and lots n lots of paint!
I absolutely LOVE sculpting and painting, I haven't done it in quite a while unfortunately. I should make more stuff, I really miss it.

Middle-Age Mutant Day-Job Tortoise: Donald! I ordered this figure from @trenttroop on @shapeways because, look, Donatello's the best of the Ninja Turtles—that's just science—and this grim look into his future is #toorelatable. Go look him up and read the product description for him & his brothers of the same line; they're hilarious. I won't be getting the others—they just don't resonate with me the same way—but it's nice to know I could if I wanted to. If I could only keep one toy or figure on or near my desk, this would have to be it. He knows that Monday-on-a-Tuesday-morning feeling as well as I do. #professionalnerd This was my first #Shapeways order and overall I'm fairly pleased. I sprung for the "coated full-color sandstone" material, and it's interesting to see the little bit on his coffee mug where that coating bubbled & didn't take. As you can see if you swipe left, he's about the same size as the #TMNT #MegaBloks figures. I got a really badass Quick Revive keychain at ComiCon! Instantly put it on my lanyard with my other "nerdy things" :D
The person running the booth was absolutely amazing, we were both ranting about COD Zombies and BioShock for quite a while lol. She even told me about how her and her girlfriend got each other into their favorite series' (BioShock and COD zombies). They had lamps and posters and keychains it was all so sick! And that RAY GUN?! IT ACTUALLY WORKS! Lights up, reloads, and makes the sounds and everything! I'm surprised they are only selling it for $1500 for how well made it is!

The other day my sibling, H, said my lanyard looks "really nerdy"..?

Edit: The little charms on my keychain are, 1) DNA 2)A flask 3)Microscope 4)Bottle & syringe 5)Quick Revive bottle cap 6) A blue crystal because 115 lol and the lanyard itself has every element of the periodic table listed.

I made this for my sibling for Christmas last year, it was a helluva lot of fun to paint. This was my first attempt at painting something again after years of not even touching a brush. Although it's not quite "perfect" by any means, I have yet to meet anyone who said art should be "perfect".

One time when I was showing my sibling the COD zombies comics, in the middle of reading they turned to me and said:
"Hold on.. Damn, Stuhlinger is such a simp eh?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, he's going through a lot of s#it for Eddie in this series. Literal hell and back, literal blood and tears, just to get some stupid book for the man and he's still so damn happy to blindly listen to him? That's some major simp behavior right there man!"
"Huh. I hadn't thought about it like that?"
Also, H absolutely loves that one panel with Eddie holding up the kronorium, because "He looks so damn happy!", I love it too. XD
