Sparkle Motion Mini testers. The Mini came together fast, but classic testers had cascading issues. We used Claude for firmware and got cool samples, including filament letters and enclosures for Sparkle Motion Stick. And our dinosaur tissue holder fell, disassembling an arm! Time to find strong foam tape for reattachment.

It is efficient to make in batches. There was 21 in this run. I only used 1 belt, a 120 grit @combatabrasives shredder. Luis didn’t have prototypes of the mint or gloss black when I was calligra-testing these with @missenvylope and @calligraphysuppliesaus two days ago but these four are gorgeous enough on their own 😍😍😍 . Prices have been announced! $9.90 USD / $11.90 AUD for pastels, and $12.90 USD / $15.90 AUD for the shiny ones. Yeah you read that right! Here in Aus a simple black plastic Speedball oblique goes for up to $12 at art stores so you can imagine how excited I am to be able to recommend to my students a gorgeous budget offering that’s tested in prototype by calligraphers (including me!) and made by a local small business. ❤️❤️❤️ .
