Contra Anniversary Collection is out, and you know it’s got Probotector ⊟
I totally forgot this happened today! As a footnote to Nintendo’s announcement of the wild new Contra game, the company also announced that this collection was out today, with not only a bunch of 8-bit and 16-bit Contra games on it, but also -- what I’m here for -- the goofy European versions that replaced all the commando dudes with robo-soldiers.
I know there’s not really a reason to want to play these versions, but this is fully a selling point for me. Oh, and here’s the new Switch game:
