The more I play this game the more I feel like MC's route should be Luke. But I'm going to play Luke's route (personal story esp, I'm gonna play all characters cards stories cause I need the S chips lol) after I get a definitive answer that it's gonna be a happy ending!!!! Tho idk if Mihoyo will give that happy ending soon or not (You know what I meant by happy ending = cure for Luke's condition, I won't say more, just read chapter 1 of his personal story =)) ). So I'll probably play his personal story slowly. I don't want to get invested too much (as I am already slowly invested in his story =) ) and get my heart broken because of the ending :"). I like Luke a lot as a character.
But then, that's what I think for MC's route, but if you are talking about my personal preference, then the answer is Atrem. I like him like a LOOOTT. (And I feel like MC and Artem also go well together, I meant the boi likes her like so so much, I can'ttt hshshshshs) But the game won't give me more of his cards =). Please give me an Artem SSR pleaseeeeee. So then, Imma definitely play Artem's route as I like him so much and I feel like his route don't have sad endings flags so far.
So, here I am basically conflicted as whose route should I take hshshgshs.
I also like Marius' route (and also my heart aches from his stories that I have read in youtube), and up till today can't see how Vyn's is a romantic interest of MC from the main stories... But now I will mainly be collecting Artem's and Luke's cards (also the game give me a lot lot lot of Luke's card, I even got the same Luke's SSR card twice =)), give me Artem's SSR pls)
However, this is also depends on Mihoyo, how each level would be fairly easy to achieve or not, cause now I am stuck in level or story 5.2, because of insufficient power in my cards =). So far, leveling up is kinda easy... And the side stories, I meant like the special banners, are fun too! Last time I played game similar to this is BTS World (tho in there I am their manager and I like that much more than picking someone as a love interest, I want to help bring them to success!! My heart aches for those kids hshdhshhs), I need cards too, and I'm stuck in story 6 if I remembered it correctly. Then I stopped playing cause it was too hard for me 😂😂😂 to level up, also that each of the main story kinda have like multiple levels that needed cards, more than the actual story, this is different than Tears of Themis where at least there is 1 story then 1 card level, while in BTS world I think there are like multiple card levels before I can read 1 story, if my brain remembered it correctly. Maybe I'll try to play it again someday, my memory card and internal storage is not enough to play all of these games lol. So, Mihoyo, don't make this too hard for me, or I might give up and just watch from people playing the games in YouTube or Twitch or anywhere else 😬😬 haha. I am all here for the story cause I'm curious about these cases!!
