A ftting return, since I haven't been here in more than a year, either.

what demon has ever dared turn their back upon the LORD? do they not devote their very existence to God? devotion for the sake of destruction is still devotion. search for a demon that disregards God and you will spend your life in vain.

humans are half and half, Good and Evil, all speckled through with light and shadow until you cannot tell whether we were born of gloom or glare, tainted right through to the bone of our souls.

and thus we are lower than creatures of pure shadow, for we mistake the light inside us for the sun and the sun for the light inside us, and wrongly attribute both Good and Evil to within when it comes from the world and to the world when it comes from within. demons never look to themselves for Goodness, for they know they are nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing but void and darkness and what their Mother birthed them to become, and they Know that Good does not come from the likes of them. when they feel Goodness they they hunt it out, scouring this world for traces of Goodness with a zeal humans can never hope to match. in finding it they inevitably reach to touch it, forgetting themselves for just a moment, and are burned burned BURNED by the love that is held there.

Good is not always Nice, and humans forget that but demons Know it, Know that all they can hope for from angels is a swift death, that the mere presence of the Almighty will burn them to cinders and splinters.

for creatures of pain and suffering, that relish in pain and suffering, this is Heaven. for creatures of pain and suffering, that relish in pain and suffering, this is Hell.
