I'm back from MIA status.
Missed you all! And, I'm looking forward to diving more into Maas-Verse theories, while also working as Tamlins' and Nestas'Defense Attorney.
The firecracker to accompany my return is, as follows:
Papa Archeron wouldn't have been able to do shite if it wasn't for Tamlin fixing his leg and bestowing wealth upon him. No Vassa. No 3 Ships. No turn in the Battle of Hybern.
It reminds me of when Aelin gave money to Yrene and then what transpired from that. Acts of kindness reaching far beyond the character seems to be a common theme. I think there is going to be more to Tam's story. That this kindness will find its way back to him full-circle.
Hopefully with a Vassa love, rescue, and healing story. (The wolf and the firebird reference from Queen of Shadows).
An Unpleasant Meeting (2-2-23)
"I don't." Rhysand replied curtly. "But the others are wondering what Spring is up to..." His gaze landed on the bargain tattoo marking Eris' arm, disappearing into his sleeve. He sneered at them, at their mingled scents. "Funny, I didn't think you'd stoop as low to bed with..." He looked at Tamlin, at the antlers, the fur, the haunted green eyes that smoldered with anger, and smirked. "Broken things, Eris. What would your father say?" Eris stared at him, his blood roaring in his ears at the quiet, pained sound that left Tamlin.
Rhysand glanced at Tamlin. He didn't need to read his thoughts to know the thoughts that were going through his head.
Tamlin took a step towards Rhysand. Rage was roiling within him, overriding his senses. "Leave." He hissed. When Rhysand didn't leave, Tamlin launched himself at him, an angry, guttural shriek tearing itself out of his throat. Eris grabbed him arm, holding him back as Rhysand winnowed away, back to his Court.
"Not worth it." He murmured, turning Tamlin around and holding him. "Don't, lest he return and bring this place down around your ears."
He pulled away from Tamlin, taking his hand, the one marked with the bargain tattoo. "Let's put that unpleasantness behind us, hm? We'll pack a picnic lunch, go to the glen." Eris smiled. "How about it?"
Tamlin sighed. He could not remain upset when Eris smiled at him like that, his russet eyes gleaming with the promises of unbridled happiness, despite what had just occurred. Quite a difference from the court trained, arrogant and vicious prince of Autumn, this male before him, who had bloomed in Spring, like a flower exposed to sunshine for the first time.

Got an A on my final paper folk and fairy tales. Prof loved it and wants to read ACOTAR. I have no way to tell her Tamlin is not the person my essay makes him out to be in greater context lmao.Â
Best paragraph award goes to: “Tamlin frees Feyre from the burdens of duty, poverty, and society through his existence outside the human world. In Warner’s terms, Tamlin “holds up a mirror to the force nature within” (307). Feyre does break Tamlin’s curse – a palimpsest of the actions of Beauties who came before her, but Tamlin is not the one who transforms. Maas breaks with ATU 425 tale structure and has Feyre become a creature-human hybrid alongside her beloved. She does not transform him into a man; Feyre becomes High Fae, a beast “strong and fast and sleek” (Maas, ACOTAR 407). She joins the ranks of those she has feared, and in doing so, Feyre integrates her human, feminine, self with her masculine, beastly sexual desire. Feyre, like Beauty, realizes she loves the Beast, yet she alters to embody his animal nature instead of offering him her human one.”
