Mayfield & J2 Racing head to Kenly NC for X-1R Pro Cup Race
Jeremy & the J2 Race team are heading to Kenly NC tomorrow morning to compete in the X-1R Pro Cup race at the Southern National Motorsports Park.
It's been a long week of trial and error to get the car where it needs to be, but Mayfield believes they're finally where they need to be.
Jeremy had this to say - "We formed an alliance with NASCAR driver/owner, Chris Lafferty because we knew we needed help with our engine program being such a new team. Â One of the owners here at J2 Racing knew him and suggested we all get together to look at some sort of partnership. Â We all sat down and discussed our goals in racing and found a lot of areas where we believe we can help each other. Â We've been so busy this week we still haven't had a chance to test for tomorrow's race but I feel as good as I've ever felt about this car. Â I can't thank Chris enough for jumping right in and lending his expertise to our group."Â
Gates open at 5pm with races starting at 7pm with 5 different series competing - definitely get your money's worth with this event.

Mayfield & J2 Racing head to Kenly NC for X-1R Pro Cup Race
